Drawing on the energy of the new moon, this 90-minute Yin & meditation practice will invite us to reflect on our habits & goals from 2020. We will intentionally release that which is not serving us while finding inspiration for our 2021 Vision Board Workshop to design our best year yet.

About the event

Put on something cozy & join Rachel Hupp, RYT-500, online from the comfort of your home for this multi-level yoga experience.

Yin is a slower and more meditative style of yoga that invites us to turn inward and connect with the mind as well as the sensations in the body. Because we are holding the poses for longer periods of time, we are able to target the deeper connective tissues in the body. Yin also teaches us to breathe through discomfort and sit with our thoughts with a gentle acceptance. 

Our 90-minute Yin & Meditation practice will take place from 9:15 to 10:45 am and is designed to set you up for the 2021 Vision Board Workshop from 11:00 - 12:00. If you can't join live, don't worry. You'll get a link to the replay so you can participate on your own time. 

For our yoga practice, I encourage you to have a yoga mat, a blanket, two yoga blocks or thick books, and a yoga bolster or a couple of pillows. 

A vision board is a type of visual tool that allows you to focus on a specific type of goal in your life. This can be a personal goal, a financial goal, or a professional goal.

In this portion of the workshop, you will learn:

- What a vision board is - Why you should create a vision board - What you should do before getting started - Ideas for what to include in your vision board - and more...

I'll help you clarify your goals for the new year so that by the end of the workshop, you will be empowered to create your own 2021 vision board.

You're welcome to have a notebook or poster board as well as crayons or markers and any pictures that resonate with you nearby for the vision board workshop, but it is not necessary as you'll be empowered with the techniques you need to design your personal vision board whenever you'd like.
